HOLIDAY FACT:- booking this property through one of the above online travel booking agencies will cost UP TO 40% more than the price set by the owner! These operators sell peace of mind with 'Payment Protection' and 'Book with Confidence' guarantees but charge a large 'Service Fee' or significantly scale up the rental cost. If you examine the small print these safeguarding promises do not add up in reality because the rental agreement and contractual legal liability remains strictly between the traveller and owner. In most cases you can insure your holiday for far less than the service fees or the difference between an inflated online holiday price and the owner's base price.

How to Pay for your Holiday

 

We normally accept payment by cheque drawn on a UK bank account or internet bank transfer direct to our account (BACS). We are unable to accept card payments at the present time or payments on line via the HomeAway website. We will consider payments via PayPal providing the payment is setup to avoid commission fees being deducted at source. Click on the Terms and Conditions Link below for a full explanation of our booking and payment process. We may request a Security Deposit payment as a condition of your booking.

 

Winter Short Breaks (WSB)

 

These are normally available from November to Mid March with the exception of the Christmas and New Year period and the February school half term weeks. They represent excellent value for a quick or special getaway. *** Unless otherwise stated or advertised Short Breaks are ONLY available November to March. ***

 

Stay for three, four or five nights and choose your arrival day (subject to availability).

 

Three nights @ £295, four nights @ £325 and five nights @ £365, plus booking fee @ £30 and energy supplement @ £5 per night. Additional pet supplements may apply @ £5 per night per dog.

 

We can extend your stay by arrangement during your break.

 

Guests with Pets

 

We welcome up to TWO dogs (subject to agreement) that meet the following criteria:

 

1. Your dog must be well groomed, obedient and be up to date with its flea and worm treatments

 

2. Your dog(s) must not exceed approximately 42 kgs in weight (in other words small to medium plus in size)

 

3. Puppies are welcome but MUST be contained in their travelling cage while in the cottage.

 

4. Your dog is NOT PERMITTED access to the lounge or any bedroom.

 

Owners MUST agree to the following:

 

1. Supply bedding/a bed for their dog.

2. Not to leave their dog alone in the property.

3. Accept responsibility for the cost of decoration fees incurred by the owner due to the actions/behaviour of your dog.

4. Thoroughly clean and air the property before departure.

5. Not to UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES allow the dog to foul the garden or surrounding land.

6. To check the garden for mess before departure.

 

Dog Rental Supplements:

 

Each qualifying dog is charged at £35 per week or £5 per dog per night during Winter Short Breaks.

We request the name, age and breed of your dog(s) prior to confirming a reservation.
